Alternate Brownie Recipe - Benevolent Bakery

Alternate Brownie Recipe

This alternate mix-in swaps water for butter and adds eggs and vanilla for a richer, denser brownie with a bakery-style finish. It takes less than five minutes to pull together and makes a noticeable difference in texture and depth of flavor.

Want extra-rich, bakery-style brownies? Try this version instead of using water.

What You’ll Need

  • 2 large eggs
  • ½ cup melted butter or vegetable oil
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

How to Make It

  1. Mix the wet ingredients in a bowl until smooth.
  2. Add the mixture to your Benevolent Bakery Brownie Mix and stir until combined.
  3. Pour the batter into a prepared pan and bake as directed.

Tip: If using butter, melt it first before mixing with the eggs and vanilla.
